Polkadot Communications is an independent communications agency with a global and Australian client portfolio that seek clever strategies to tell their story, target audiences, deliver business impact and increase brand awareness.

Started 15 years ago, Polkadot Communications is privately owned by Dionne Taylor and led by General Manager, Anna MacIntosh. Culture and collaboration are at the heart of our agency values and purpose.

About Dionne

Starting the agency at the age of 23, after working as an entertainment and news journalist, Dionne was one of Australia’s youngest PR innovators.

Now 11 years later she has established herself as an industry leader, innovator, and thought-leader in the media industry. Specialising in consumer lifestyle brands, she understands how to make these brands famous amongst their competitors.

Passionate about effective communication and storytelling (traits she learned as a journo), Dionne and her team have pioneered new and effective methods to capture the media’s attention and provide a sophisticated service for the agency’s clients.

By introducing new communication methods to her client’s campaigns, Dionne utilises new approaches to PR with the introduction of modern digital marketing, SEO, influencer engagement and memorable event management.

Dionne prides herself on being the ultimate multi-tasker, creative executor and problem solver and with over fifteen years of industry experience, she thrives on a challenge.

About Anna

Anna is a communications specialist with 24 years of experience leading and inspiring teams to build brands and solve business challenges across multiple sectors.

Passionate about collaboration and culture, throughout her career, Anna has worked across sectors including not-for-profit, financial services, corporate, government and FMCG.

Success for Anna is the impact communications has in building and protecting brands and over the past two decades, Anna has delivered integrated and cross-platform work for Coca-Cola, Unilever, Nestle, the Australia Day Council of NSW, Indigenous Land Corporation (ILC), Destination NSW, Samsung, Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health, AMEX, Athena Home Loans, National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE), Tourism New Zealand, TABASCO, Suncorp and eBay.

Anna has successfully navigated complex programs targeting multiple stakeholders and channels for a number of high profile public awareness and community campaigns targeting Indigenous Australians and Australians.
